Virtual Tour
Now let’s go back to December month of 2019…That was the time that our family planned on an overseas trip…Malaysia and Singapore…Those are the countries we wanted go to. Then me and my sister were hunting so many sites in the web and YouTube videos to finalize the place. Both places are full of mind-blowing things for travelers. Then our final decision was the ‘Malaysia tour’…
Due to our first migrate, we wanted to make our passport. So, I was at ‘Rathmalana’ during those days. So planned everything with my sister over the phone. I came to ‘Matara’ in that weekend and we went to a studio and took over passport sized photographs. Then we went to the government office and took the forms to create the passport. Then we hurried to fill those papers and give those back. So, Sister and me filled all the forms on that day itself.
Planning a trip is the most amazing part before going that. In here, what we wanted to do was buying new cloths, new shoes and new bags and take some pictures where ever we go. My sister was sending me Instagram pages of cloth shops and we selected some colorful dresses and shoes to buy. We planned to take same dress in different colors for both of us.
In my side, I wanted to know “what are the dishes I can try after going to Malaysia?”. I went through videos and there were different kinds of restaurants full of various dishes. I can remember one day; I had a dream of our tour as well. Our family were in a restaurant and they gave us a bun with a beckon fish slice inside that. It was really tasty even I was dreaming…
Then we knew that my mothers’ friends’ husband is doing a travelling agency. So, my mother contacted her and took some details about the cost, ticket prices, hotel rooms, foods and how we can do traveling at there. Before we contacted her, my sister also contacted some other agencies, but some were too expensive, and some didn’t cover some places in Malaysia. So, we decided to say ok for my mother’s friend’s agency.
Now, it was like 3rd week of January 2020. Everything was finalized and what we wanted to do was giving money for the agency. While planning, we heard some news about a virus in China. My father told us that virus was spreading and we had to think twice before going that. But both of don’t want to postpone our tour. Then it was last week of January, we heard that 1st corona patient was found in Sri Lanka and government was taking some actions about the virus.
That was the last day, we had dreams about our tour. The best thing was not paying the agency in a rush. Otherwise, we all had to go Malaysia and we might stuck at there.
Don’t plan too much of anything before having that…So go with the flow…Try to enjoy the current moment. Then the life will be full of happiness and joy…
